@Einstein_psg Reminds me of similar principles with Johann Cruyff’s winning WC team- 11 players attacking and 11 players defending in cohesion. Soccer is all about teamwork. That’s a priority
@FTBLsection On paper it’s possible based on the performances of the last matches, but what if FIFA is dead serious about King Messi wins the crown again?
@mdiana017 ie: if the Ref officiates FAIRLY, not on orders of the FIFA or the VAR on orders of FIFA!!! if past matches with Argentina is referenced, it's unlikely England wins!
@itzelfklein unless the Eggbali finds a way to demote Winstanley's responsibilities which is unlikely as it was he who hired him! regardless, as outsiders we only have our gut instincts to believe in. if Alonso seems to be confidently going about planning is team, then half the battle is won!
@itzelfklein no employee wants to be perceived as losing the battle to a new coach who has just started his job, albeit Alonso is well respected among the soccer world! it remains to be seen if Alonso wins the battle or Winstanley will eventually. if either owner is 50/50 then Alonso loses!
@MobyChe Don’t forget we will have up and coming Barco who is a proven substitute for Argentina in this WC! Surely Alonso will have plans for him based on merit, not withholding his transfer from Strasbourg
@itzelfklein Despite 4 years of ups and downs, I am cautiously optimistic about Alonso being given the powers to do his job on his terms, in collaboration with the rest of the dof’s team.
USA totally outclassed by Belgium today! No matter what the corrupt Infantino did upon the felon’s instruction to rebuke Balogun’s red card, the ridiculous saga only provided the Belgians with more energy to ignite their fire right from the go. In the end, Karma ruled 🍻🤪
@icardo8 An honest answer from a truly experienced and professional coach. That’s why he got the job. Too bad player egos are in the way which affects the overall mentality of the team
