I joined the people of Karamoja to celebrate their culture and identity at the Karamoja Cultural Festival. I congratulate them upon this festival and thank the people of Karamoja for massively voting for the NRM.

I reminded them that the disarmament of Karamoja was necessary because guns were bringing murder and insecurity. I especially thanked the women who supported us in collecting more than 41,000 guns.

Today I met a team of leaders from Acholi subregion led by my brother Hon @Mapenduzi_Ojara at my office at PLU headquarters In Naguru.

It was all about strengthening the PLU agenda, tackling corruption and ensuring we get the 20 million endorsements for our next President @mkainerugaba.
They promised to double their efforts to ensure PLU meets it's objectives in the greater North.
