Nolan’s Odyssey seems to draw its power from emotion, tension, and intimate close-ups rather than massive set pieces or CGI sequences.

Troy had the scale and spectacle of a true Hollywood epic, but sometimes lacked the emotional gravity its biggest moments needed.

It makes a Nolan-directed Troy fascinating to imagine: likely deeper and more intense, but perhaps at the expense of the sweeping battles and action that define the story..
