@extralies @takanashikiara with how much hollow knight devs made they had essentially endless budget for silksong and that game despite it being a meme was probably the most anticipated game of all time. does that deserve to win either? no. if exp 33 isn’t to be included than neither should silksong.

maybe hot take: most of silksongs boss designs are dogshit. 2 masks for every hit including contact, endless mobs that are tanky for no reason, hazards, etc. is not fun.

the few bosses without that were incredibly fun. widow was one of my fave bosses ever, more of that please.

@Noctis_LCXV idk what to even do. tried to do a few diff fights including savage beastfly and they’re all awful lol. keep going to do something else. tried the next area and the basic enemy takes like 6 hits to kill. i think i’ll hang it up after the weekend and wait for a balance patch 🤷🏼‍♀️

@furakaze04 widow was the best, fourth and laced were fun bosses too, even bell beast. what do they all have in common? no stupid mobs to artificially inflate the difficulty. just make the bosses harder. sister has ONE move lol but summons double damage tanky mobs.
