@decksetapp is code highlighting currently broken in the current version of the desktop app? Running 2.0.20 and a ruby code block is not rendering with any highlighting
@ThabitiAnyabwil Seminary prepared me to read and write well, both in original languages and modern day academia.
Seminary prepared me poorly to care for or even _about_ people well. The emphasis was primarily about correct theology over loving people well.
@ChrustopherH @jesseherlitz Christian punk bands named things like: WE TOOK A WRONG TURN TWO LEFTS AGO AND DECIDED IT WAS TOO HARD TO MAKE A U-TURN SO WE KEPT GOING AND NOW WE ARE IN IDAHO
Also, pleasantly surprised @E_E_ announced a new album. The single demonstrates a continued evolution of their sound with some really interesting production ideas. I had expected they were taking a longer break as a band after their last album. Stoked they’ve returned.
Spoon is a band that has stayed consistent in their style while never becoming cliche through repetition. New album is no exception: https://t.co/0Bz0spKDAe
@tyvdh Sounds very surveillance state-y. Put all your application activity on a public register… Sounds a lot like what ad companies (Google, FB, etc.) already do internally with all your internet activity.
@tyvdh I guess my question is how do you gauge what is “edgy” and how do you prevent that from becoming diluted by farm accounts? Like if the history of “edgy-ness” gets diluted by nonsense innocuous activity?
@tyvdh i.e. a black market for “edgy tuned” accounts.
Also recently talked with a group doing sort of this for security modeling for software systems. They model a software’s intended use paths and alert when it deviates from that. Might be worth talking to them
