Looking back I think amphoreus was really good at creating an interesting cast and world with an interesting mystery to solve at the start of the 3.x patches but it was terrible at resolving all of it. Still 10/10 in my memory idc Also Herta was awesome

Amphoreus was one of the worst-written, worst-paced stories I have ever experienced in gaming. Characters are boiled down to a primordial ooze of tropes all so Shaoji could shoehorn his favorite OCs from the previous game. An absolute masterclass in what not to do.

March and dan heng’s involvement in the story was unnecessary and only served to sell their gacha banners imo, finally they loved repeating their catchphrases TOO much I never need to hear “See you tomorrow” again in my life.
