I was open to reconciliation back then -- but she filed for divorce.
I wish her well today & am grateful I learned the lessons I needed to become a good husband & leader today.
I would actually say looking back it's 100% my fault she cheated.
I picked her.
I stopped going to church.
I neglected the relationship anytime it got hard.
We all make mistakes. We learn & grow ---- or we stay a victim & don't.
I know a couple that's celebrating 50 years of marriage this year.
Year 4 the guy cheated on her.
He actually left for months & even moved in with the other woman.
The enemy thought he delivered a knock out blow to this family & they would be fractured forever.
The wife was told by family & friends to LEAVE THAT SCUMBAG & that she deserved better.
Instead of get angry, she went all-in on her own faith & looked within.
She had mentees in the church that help her discover that she was 50% to blame for him cheating.
Control, nagging day in & day out, never offering encouragement--- what did you expect one of the elders in the church asked her?
I can't imagine how difficult that was to admit any fault when you were the one cheated on & wronged, but she did.
She sought the Lord's forgiveness for part.
She blasted praise music & lived in the Bible for the next many months.
When this man would come around to see his kids she harbored zero resentment & to this day the man will say I NOTICED THIS DEEP JOY & PEACE IN HER........ I LONGED FOR IT TOO.
After many months this man ended it with that other woman & came with an offer,
"I don't deserve it, but whatever you have I want. I want to start going to church too. I want to learn how to be a great husband & dad. I want to start new with God in the middle."
46 years later.
RESTORED.
LEGACY OF LOVE, HONOR, & COMMITMENT.
Many have been inspired by these two people & the fruit they've produced over the years has impacted millions of lives!
Many call them heroes.
I call these 2 people MOM & DAD. ❤️🙏
Radical ownership sets you free.
I wonder in the church today would many women offer that same advice my mom got?
Look at what they would have missed out on?!
Just in: Bae In-gyu, leader of South Korea's far-right, anti-feminist group New Men's Solidarity, a figurehead of the gender war, and described as Korea's answer to Andrew Tate, has been found dead, according to local media. Police say he fell from the 12th floor of an apartment in Incheon this morning. No note was found, no suspected foul play.

In 2021, Sri Lankan national Wishma Sandamali went to the Japanese police after her boyfriend hit her. Instead of helping, they threw her into a cell and tortured her to death. 16 other foreign nationals died in similar ways. But yeah, cute ducks. Good job 👍
you only think they're right because you don't see victims of us military as humans and therefore believe your own comfort to be inherently above their lives
@superkeara The short answer is that you own the lease, meaning you own the right to exclusive use and possession of the land for the duration of the lease. You can invite the vampire in so long as doing so doesn't violate the terms of the contract.
me: I love getting myself a little sweet drink!
my asian mother who never learned to regulate emotions: so you hate me? you don’t care about me? you never think to get ME a little sweet drink. you’re so selfish. nobody EVER thinks about me!!
me: here’s your drink
her: oh ok
Reducing women to tools of procreation is also sexist, which is why the religions which believed in a creator-goddess were still patriarchal. They, and you, envision god as merely a Mother, in contrast to the male god who gets to be a King
