@plmmyql They were the ones who introduced this shady Chinese organizer to DMD in the first place.
This deal was handled through MagicCube. The company communicating directly with the organizer was not DMD — it was MagicCube.
The Chinese fans screaming “this is Chinese hate” are ironically the ones showing zero concern for TTP’s safety. All they care about is money and angrily saying “then don’t come to China anymore.” At that point, they’re acting more like haters than fans.
@plmmyql That reputation already existed long before this incident happened.
As for the event cancellation, honestly, both Thai and Chinese fans are overlooking the fact that MagicCube bears major responsibility here.
The genuinely decent Chinese fans are the ones who are sincerely worried about TTP and simply hope they’ll be able to come back to China safely again someday.
They were likely flagged by the Chinese authorities, so the event cancellation was unavoidable. That’s why neither the organizer nor DMD can really say anything publicly.
You can’t fight against the Chinese government. There’s always a risk of immediate detention.
