Jackie Gleason was nine years old, living in a cold Brooklyn tenement on Chauncey Street, when Herbert Gleason collected his paycheck, burned every photo of himself in the house, and disappeared forever.

Jackie’s older brother had already died. His mother Mae took a job in a subway change booth and raised him alone in grinding poverty.

By nineteen she was gone too. Jackie had 36 cents in his pocket.

He hit the streets, hustled pool, worked the rough clubs, and refused to go home until he made it.

Years later that same kid from Brooklyn became “The Great One.” He gave America Ralph Kramden — the loud, big-hearted bus driver who lived at the exact same address Jackie once did — and turned working-class struggle into comedy gold that still hits home decades later.

“How sweet it is!” wasn’t just a catchphrase. It was the sound of a kid who started with almost nothing and still found a way to laugh.

A mother and daughter paid $1,000 for courtside seats at a Fever game.

They wore simple XX / XY t-shirts supporting Sophie Cunningham and fairness in women’s sports.

Security told them to cover the shirts or risk being ejected because “someone was offended.”

Meanwhile, a pro-trans t-shirt was featured on the jumbotron during the same game.

Players also sat for the national anthem and the team honored Stacey Abrams.

🇺🇸 A 9-year-old girl at an elementary school in Massachusetts was in the bathroom when a boy peeked under the stall and then PUSHED his way in!

The school’s response? They told her to use a different bathroom.

A man has been documenting McDonald’s burgers for over a year and the results are hard to ignore.

His 515-day-old cheeseburger still looks almost the same. The receipt he kept with it fell apart faster than the burger itself. A 119-day-old Quarter Pounder is so hard he says he’ll need a crowbar to pull it apart. Even a 25-day-old McChicken shows almost no real decay on the patty.

He finally tried to take a bite of a 100-day-old burger on camera. It was so rock hard he could only get the bun. He spit it out and called it disgusting.

People are now connecting it to the moment the McDonald’s CEO forced himself to eat one of their burgers on camera and looked visibly uncomfortable.

What exactly are they putting in this food that refuses to rot… and why did the CEO look so scared to eat his own product?
