I love watching the spelling bee every year, always sneaky fun. Only thing that gives me pause is that since it started in 1925, no winner has ever lived past age 35.
Most home runs in team’s first 16 games of season, Cardinals history:
2006 Albert Pujols: 11
2026 Jordan Walker: 8
2004 Scott Rolen: 8
1998 Mark McGwire: 8
1954 Stan Musial: 8
Nolan McLean, 84mph Sweeper (22" of break) and 97mph Two Seamer (18" of run), Individual Pitches + Overlay.
40 inches of horizontal movement difference.
This Wyatt Langford catch from yesterday is a great example of why catch probability is good to know.
Just a 45% catch probability here. Why? Any MLB outfielder catches this ball if they get there.
Most can't get there. Langford's jump is elite, +8.7 feet above the average outfielder. The jump is so good he doesn't even have to get up to top speed.
This is just a routine double into the gap much of the time, and the TV viewer thinks nothing of it:
[on the phone] yeah we were gonna rage against the dying of the light later if you’re down [switches phone to other ear] you’re what? hold on [covers phone] this dipshit’s going gentle into that good night
@PenguinLamont@BalatroGame@AppleArcade Only thing I could see was Apple TV and Mac apps additionally if you use Apple Arcade. iPhone and IPad with regular purchase.
