Per AI…

If we define the category as:

* Not exaggeration (“millions,” “thousands,” “the greatest,” etc.)
* Not predictions or promises about the future.
* Not opinions or interpretations.
* Simply a false statement of fact.

…then the list becomes surprisingly short. Many of Trump’s falsehoods are actually exaggerations or unsupported claims rather than clean, binary factual assertions.

Some of the strongest examples would be:

1. “Barack Obama was not born in the United States.”
* False. Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
2. “I won the 2020 election.”
* False. The certified results show Joe Biden won.
3. “The FBI planted evidence during the Mar-a-Lago search.”
* False. No evidence has ever substantiated this claim.
4. “Ted Cruz’s father was involved with Lee Harvey Oswald.”
* False. There is no credible evidence of such involvement.
5. Displaying or endorsing the altered Hurricane Dorian map (“Sharpiegate”).
* After the forecast no longer included Alabama, Trump presented an altered map to support his earlier incorrect statement.

After that, it gets much harder to find examples that aren’t arguably:

* an exaggeration,
* a prediction,
* an opinion,
* an inference,
* or a claim that depends on proving Trump’s state of mind.

This is one reason fact-checking organizations often report that Trump made tens of thousands of false or misleading claims rather than tens of thousands of lies. Many entries are repeated exaggerations (“best ever,” “biggest,” “millions”), cherry-picked statistics, or assertions lacking evidence, rather than simple binary falsehoods.
