@ChanderBhatia01 Isn’t it possible that India has also peaked in 2024. Multiples in India are still way higher than Chinese or even Korean markets. What makes you think that india is undervalued market
@safiranand Paytm also did buy back though capital is raw material for them too. Many times it is for the optics and help overall returns for the shareholders which is the prime objective. If it helps propping up ROE, why not. Globally also many banks have done this successfully.
@WeekendInvestng And the people who are against it here, will take it at the first opportunity. And many in their families would be taking it already.. so much for hypocrisy
@safiranand Issue is not about the business but ICD etc by diverting the money to bail out other entities. Remember what happened with RCAP or even CG power. And unlike RCap, here the business is not regulated too.
@safiranand@imVkohli@msdhoni It is a two way street.Think he got aloof after reaching the pinnacle. And he is also not be blamed- what he could not probably do is to build a support system around him.Guess he relied on Ravi https://t.co/6q8wEczWPw do someone know that he needs support when they are not in
When will the buying emerge is the main question to answer and for that there is no option but to wait for global cues. India fundamentally is in better shape and time is really good for some stock picking
Most of us say at the peak- this time it’s different like there is no tomorrow. And then by the end of the bear market most of us cave in and become super pessimistic. Guess we are there now
Indian market is still very shallow ( in the mid cap and small cap space). So a return of some buying will change the price drastically. Of course it has worked at the opposite way in last few weeks 😊
