What is described here is one of the mildest forms of torture used inside Israeli occupation jails. This is the baseline. The NGT imposed Rs 12 Crore Environmental Compensation on SMC & Commissioner told the Tribunal last year that in 2 years all the 11.50 Lakh Metric Tons of Legacy Waste will be cleared, but when he was asked to give this in writing supported by an Affidavit , the officer got himself Transferred to Food & Civil Supplies Department ?
I don't blame the Commissioner , what could he do in 2 years ? This is clear case of Mismanagement & Mis-Governance and all the Successive Govt's are responsible for this ? Our Leaders had No Vision for Srinagar's sustainable development 30 to 40 years back and now we are suffering because of their wrongdoings ?
