(Used to be my pinned post. Should've stayed there!) The most interesting sports interview I managed to put together was this one. She's a self-deprecating, and captivating person, and captain of our only World Champion team in Women's softball:

Former @BLACKCAPS fast bowler Bob Blair is 94 today. Forever linked to events on Boxing Day 1953. He was a phenomenon in Plunket Shield cricket, taking 352 wickets at just 14.61.
@geoffretrac Pretty sure she could hit a few runs at a pinch.
She's *only* got over 10,000 runs for the White Ferns in internationals..
And expert fielder. Goes without saying :)

@FPayne100@BLACKCAPS Crikey, still alive. That's great :)
Happy birthday to him. What a huge part he's got in our cricketing history.
I probably just assumed he'd passed at some stage and I hadn't known.
@ThrillaRilla369 Bro, you were obviously raised on those Soap suds commercials of the 50s and 60s that made a wife's home life appear as a type of sparkly fairytale. A couple of million miles from reality!
My son is refereeing local Auckland rugby, because he loves the game. The newbies wear a jersey that says "FIRST YEAR REFEREE". Last week he looked after an under 15s outer suburban high school game. Abused by ADULT coaches, including one who crossed the sideline (illegal) and walked over to the kicking tee to abuse him.
It was all he thought about all week.
Do they want kids to referee? And what example is being set to the players here? Grow up people.
@pooliecoast@AlexChapmanNZ@SportNationNZ@martindevlinnz@stafnz Great tweet, and good feedback. It was unusual, but I didn't find myself opposing the decision. He's too much of a decent guy to pile scorn on! (But to be serious, the mental burnout thing seems really likely- plus I think it was almost the opposite of Williamson being selfish.)

We were honoured to receive this parting letter from @RedSox President, Sam Kennedy, following our stay in Boston.

@Sportsfreakconz Electric. Astonishing pace off the mark. I think I first noticed that vs the Drua? earlier this year. Wouldn't be surprising to see him picked in the wider ABs squad, at minimum.
Aumua was already good, but now he's had a coming-of-age. Would love to see him as an AB's starter.
