In the last fortnight:
- Roma gypsy riots in Leeds.
- Bangladeshi riots in Whitechapel.
- A British soldier stabbed in Kent.
- Firearms officers attacked by Muslim men at Manchester Airport.
- Now children stabbed in Southport.
But, remember, it’s cultural enrichment.
A loss of just £4.8m across a season in which matchday revenue fell by 95% is impressive. It also proves that a) furlough cash was never needed and b) Premier League clubs could quite easily slash ticket prices given their diminishing importance to overall revenue.
Ok - I’m getting messages telling me to “give it up.” I won’t. We’ve come too far. Each day the numbers grow the bigger its impact. It’s sparked Questions in Parliament & inspired a coalition of opposition party leaders to take action. It’s ruffling a lot of feathers. Keep going!
