बुधवार का दिन दुबई से इजरायल जा रही फ्लाइट के 180 यात्रियों के लिए किसी बुरे सपने जैसा रहा. हवा में हजारों फीट की ऊंचाई पर उस वक्त हड़कंप मच गया जब विमान के को-पायलट ने अचानक चीफ पायलट भारतीय मूल के कैप्टन स्मित मछार पर चाकू से हमला करना शुरू कर दिया. को-पायलट की कोशिश विमान को क्रैश करने की थी. लेकिन कैप्टन स्मित मछार ने अपनी सूझबूझ और पैसेंजरों की फुर्ती से हमलावर को-पायलट को काबू में किया और विमान को सुरक्षित लैंड कराया. हमले में घायल हुए कैप्टन स्मित अस्पताल में भर्ती हैं.
