@tokumin@NotebookLM any update on when for British English?Aall the updates have been great but still would be amazing to have English with a British accent.
@_petermason Historic England have refused the initial listing. Residents have appealed this and are therefore doing our bit to preserve the Borough's history. What are you doing with extreme urgency to protect the building?

🧵🏡Today, Ealing Council submitted an application to Historic England for a Building Preservation Notice (BPN) for the East Lodge at Lammas Park.
Under law, the council is required to consult with Historic England before serving a formal notice…(1/3)
@_petermason Peter,It's a shame it was at risk in the first place. It has been 3 years and still unresolved for the council to implement the Conservation area extension and locally list it. Had this been done none of this would have happened. Can you commit to review all other assets at risk?
@MikeyCycling@EdinburghPicker Yet you’ve defended cyclists using mobile phones whilst cycling before! So the resultant distraction doesn’t apply to them apparently!
@raiza_abubakar Great to see such progress to an already amazing tool. Any chance of customising the accents of the presenters in audio deep dive. Would be much more resonant for my uses with a British accent?
@SayeedaWarsi The prosecution in that trial was ill prepared and badly executed and that is the only reason it failed to find her guilty What she and you have done in using the ‘coconut’ slur is racist and had been found so in other courts. https://t.co/eC8UOob7pZ
@nelsabbey For ‘Intra-communal’ read ‘racist’. Given that one characteristic of racism is ascribing to someone attributes based on their skin colour it’s amazing you are endorsing use of a racist term to people of colour because they don’t have the views you think they should have!
@nelsabbey@McGannSharpe Nah…it’s racist, that’s coming from a brown man! I also find it risible that the constant refrain one hears is that if someone of colour finds an insult racist it is racist and yet, here you are, a black man telling brown people what they should find racist or not!
Hats off to @MarkMachado for his @EalingShow initiative. What local authority and communities need is more scrutiny and understanding in order to make positive decisions and change that makes quality of life for locals better. Give him a follow and listen to the podcast.
@EalingShow@MarkMachado Great initiative Mark. Ealing needs a strong local media presence to scrutinise what’s going on in the Borough and give voice to residents
@theashrb Nonsense, as a brown person, I can confirm it is racist! Those trying to justify it happen to be the same people that think brown people can only think one way or have one view! The very definition of racial bias.
