@MatinaStevis@althiaraj Wow, quality journalism, selling tittle-tattle stories. Tip top. I guess you have no idea what it's like working in a top performing team.
@CoopTory@Yyc81M93127 I thought of one more: the right to receive consular services if you're a Canadian passport holder travelling to a country where you're not also a citizen of.
@CoopTory@Yyc81M93127 The only one is the right to vote. Every person who is a legal resident pays taxes and is entitled to use all the services they pay for.
@eliasmakos Seems like a lie - AI would use the existing words on the map, not invent ones that are pronounced somewhat similarly. Plus you'd think whoever proofed the print version would have spotted it.
@JackieBee_16 I was erroneously sent two codes (as they had two variants of my address on file). I called (didn't have to wait long) and they were able to resolve the problem and remove the incorrect one.
@CoopTory Not everyone has a driver’s licence though. So you still need a card for health services for those people. Everyone else can use a combined one.
@yohaniddawela Montreal also has a district heating/cooling system - not as extensive as the one in Paris, but still quite large. See https://t.co/Us3e4yD6vU
@_shelbyreese_ Sadly he died a year ago. But it was a strange feeling having the female Coco disappear after 9 years to be replaced by her twin brother- it’s like the original Coco was completely gone.
@TuittHeure@kneubuehl Fair enough. I rarely use Finder. I use Linux for chip design EDA tools for work so prefer to work in a terminal with macOS. Only thing I use finder for is opening a bunch of images to a single Preview instance, otherwise I use the “open” command spawn the right app
@Montreal Seems they still have 2 locations - one on Mt Royal and one in Boucherville. In the old days, they were all over the place. Reminds me I used to like Pizzarte on St Denis ... but this does seem to have long gone.
@GordonLeete@kneubuehl Thanks for that - the article I cited mentioned an non-free app called Caffeinated ... I hadn't noticed the "d". Indeed, caffeinate is basically a convenience layer around pmset.
@GordonLeete@kneubuehl You can also use a terminal command for this (see https://t.co/R0BcCTmYLf) sudo pmset -a disablesleep 1 rather than paying for an app.
@TuittHeure@kneubuehl Strange as it's just a regular unix filesystem. You can chmod files to your heart's content etc. What sort of control do you think you're missing?
