So just a regular night on the Granviile Mall. The only difference is that there are many more innocent civilians that don't normally walk Granville Street, and dozens more police offices actually trying to stop the mentally disturbed.
Unfortunately the fellow probably had to be released after a vouple of hours so he could be back on the street.

Perhaps the best thing for hockey in Vancouver is if they was less sport radio talk. Hours of speculation and what-if gaber to keep the air waves from going silent.
The media in the Canadian market puts the players in a bubble and scrutinizes them. That is why many players prefer playing in US markets with less media spotlight on them.

There ate lots of hockey podcasts that you still get your fill of hockey talk and gossip.

I am embarrassed as a Canadian that he represents Canada. He is not even a Canadian.
He lead a mediocre team that was lucky to make it this far in the WC.

It is respnsibilty of the Captain to ensure that a vessel is operated in a safe manner. If the vessel is not safe to operate the Captain he should sail from the dock. The Captain of a vessel should know the safe limits of his vessel and not alllow more petsons on board than the capacity of the vessel. The Captain of a small vessel should insist that all passengers wear life jackets.

If he commanded the vessel in an unlawful or unsafe manner then he is NOT a responsible Captain, employee, or person.

A responsible Captain of that vessel would not have allowed 10 persons on that small craft without lifejackets or operated it with passengers if it was in disrepair.

The Captain of a vessel is the one person that is responsible for the safety of the passengers and crew, and must understand the limits of his vessel.
