β 10 Championship series events confirmed with the rest coming in either: Boston, Denver, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.
β Championship series events have minimum purse of $20M with 120 man fields, no alternate list and no sponsors exemptions, 72 holes, 36 hole cut to the top 65 and ties
β Match play format introduced as part of playoff events at iconic venues
β Top players from Championship Series to be eligible for limited series of fall international events in partnership with DPWT
β Challenger series to feature $4M purses and 20 events, hosted at familiar PGA Tour venues
β Championship series players not eligible for Challenger series
β Seperate points systems for each series of events
β Opportunities for challenger series players to earn promotion to championship series by winning multiple events or winning a major
β There will also be a βlast chanceβ series, featuring four to six events played in the fall, where a limited number of spots on the PGA TOUR Championship Series for the following season will be available as players look to improve or retain status.
