Tonight we saw partnership working at it best. @pennyappeal, volunteers from @PSK_news and students from @NeneParkAcademy all working together to assist and help feed the homeless in Peterborough. Our volunteer hairdressers were busy to!!
Thank you all.
Just 3 days to go before the @pennyappeal bus comes to Peterborough to distribute winter warming packs to our clients. Really appropriate in view of the weather forecast for this week.
During 2017 @PSK_news fed a total of 12,395 homeless people with May being the busiest month when 1,230 individuals turned up at our mobile van for food. Monday nights have proved to be the most popular night.
Thanks again to all for continued food and monetary donations.
Thanks to the hardy souls who slept out in the open on Saturday evening at the @PSK_news premises to raise a lot of money for @Shelter. It certainly makes you appreciate some of the hardships our clients face. Well done to all involved.
