If we do the same thing THIS year as we did LAST year, why would we expect different results?

We might get different results by accident & nothing to do with us.

So if we want something different this year, then WE have to BE different.

That's what adults in schools do.

Want to have better readers in middle & high schools?
Feed all the content knowledge you can into kids in K-5.

As soon as they can decode the written word, it's time to load them up with the background knowledge needed to aid understanding & comprehension.
