My review of “Young Washington” as a father of 4 young American boys:
This film is exactly what boys in our country have been starving for while mired in the woke era.
Young Washington is the hero archetype that every young man has been drawn to since the dawn of time.
He is BRAVE, AMBITIOUS, and strives for HONOR.
Like many other heroes, he has the perfect blend of credibility among the common man, while he is also able to fit in with the upper echelons of society due to his love and study of the great works.
What sets him apart among the privileged class, is his fierce desire to be accepted and counted among them. However, he does not just try to fit in as those who are born into it do, rather he strives to stand out, and become a leader among them.
George Washington was truly a man inspired of God to help bring about the birth of the greatest nation ever known to mankind.
A huge congratulations and thank you to @AngelStudiosInc for bringing this story that was dying to be told to the big screen for my 4 boys to witness.
Their spirits are stronger for having seen Washington’s story told in this way.
Massive success will continue if the great stories of the great men are continued to be told. I will seek these out through whatever medium tells them. Whether movie, story, comic book, live theatre, or puppet show. The Bragg boys are here for it!
Hollywood is past being put on notice, they are officially dead.
Today was a really, REALLY special day.
My sister and her family have been inactive in the church for 22 years. About 6 months ago some sister missionaries knocked on their door and asked if they could share a message about Christ.
Fast forward to today: My 14yo nephew is getting baptized. My Brother in law is getting ordained to the Priesthood so he can baptize his son.
I showed up to their church to support them and witness his ordination. The bishop asked "Grandpa Joe, have you ever ordained someone?" and I said "I haven't, no." and he said "well here's your shot!"
I was a bit nervous, but as I stood behind my brother in law and placed my hands upon his head, the spirit calmed me and guided my words. I knew exactly what to say through the whole blessing.
Then, later that day, my nephew had his baptism and they asked me to be the one to confirm him and the exact same spirit was there to lead his confirmation. I knew what to say because the Holy Ghost told me.
It was an amazing experience and I give all glory to Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ for this eternally monumental day.
Last week, the Kinshasa MTC received 125 new Latter-day Saint missionaries - its largest cohort ever. These humble servants of the Lord arrived from Burundi, Ghana, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Cote d’Ivoire, Congo-Brazzaville, and Kenya in addition to the DRC.
What started as a rough sketch on a napkin became two decades of planning and 6½ years of seismic renovations to protect the Salt Lake Temple against earthquakes.
Those seismic upgrades have been completed as Salt Lake City’s house of the Lord now rests on its new base isolation system.
“This is a milestone moment for this whole project,” said Brad Bohne, general superintendent with Jacobsen Construction.
Also, carpet has been installed in the celestial room, several chandeliers have been hung and stone-paving work is underway.

Long before Mexico City existed, the magnificent city of Tenochtitlan ruled the Valley of Mexico.
I think one of the greatest moments in history to witness would be the height of Tenochtitlan in the early 1500s, before Hernán Cortés and the Spanish conquistadors conquered and destroyed the city. Seeing one of the world’s most remarkable urban centers at its peak would be an unforgettable experience.
When the Spanish first arrived in 1519, Tenochtitlan was among the largest cities on Earth, with an estimated population of 200,000 to 300,000—larger than most European capitals of the era. Built on an island in Lake Texcoco, it was connected to the mainland by three massive causeways equipped with removable bridges for defense. A network of canals ran throughout the city, allowing canoes to transport people and goods so efficiently that Europeans often compared it to the “Venice of the Americas.”
At the heart of the city stood the Templo Mayor, an enormous twin-temple pyramid dedicated to the gods Huitzilopochtli and Tlaloc. Surrounding it were palaces, government buildings, temples, and bustling plazas. Nearby, the Great Market of Tlatelolco drew thousands of merchants each day, offering everything from food and pottery to textiles, jewelry, and luxury goods from across Mesoamerica.
The Aztecs also demonstrated extraordinary engineering and agricultural innovation. They expanded farmland using chinampas—highly productive artificial farming plots built in shallow lake waters—while aqueducts supplied the city with fresh water from nearby springs. Carefully planned neighborhoods organized by occupation and social status completed a city that combined sophisticated engineering, architecture, and urban planning, making Tenochtitlan one of the greatest achievements of the pre-Columbian world.
Michael Joseph Jackson – philanthropist, songwriter, producer, vocalist and dancer. The world's greatest entertainer and beloved by so many across the globe: “The King of Pop”. How will you honor his legacy today?
How prairie dogs use the Bernoulli’s principle.
In order to ensure sufficient oxygen within their burrow, one of the entrances is built with a raised mound of dirt, while the other is not. This determines different wind velocities and different pressures + natural ventilation.

9-year-old Kade Lovell was registered for the 5K but was misdirected by a volunteer and ended up on the 10K course instead.
He finished the full 10K (6.2 miles) in about 48 minutes and 17 seconds, crossing the line first overall and beating the second-place adult runner (a 40-year-old) by nearly a minute.
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland delivered the best explanation of how The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints deviates from traditional Christianity and returns to the doctrine taught by Jesus Christ himself.
“If one says we are not Christians because we do not hold a fourth- or fifth-century view of the Godhead, then what of those first Christian Saints, many of whom were eyewitnesses of the living Christ, who did not hold such a view either?”
This is a must-watch today:
Winter Quarters, Nebraska.
They didn’t endure because it was easy. They stayed because it was true. Their faith is of the thousands of reasons I will never walk away.
In 2016, I had the sacred privilege of organizing the first stake in Prague, Czech Republic. You can imagine the joy I felt returning 10 years later to dedicate a beautiful new stake center in this same stake. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in this region has not always been easy. Yet through unwavering devotion and trust in the Lord, the faith of members of the Church has endured. As we look back with gratitude for those who came before, we can move forward with hope and confidence in the future. This new meetinghouse symbolizes the faith of members old and new and will be a blessing for all who come and see.
All who live or ever have lived who come unto Christ and live His gospel will feel joy beyond any earthly expression as we reunite, resurrected, with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ and with our parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and ancestors.
On Saturday, June 6, 2026, groundbreaking ceremonies took place for the Springfield Missouri and Missoula Montana Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
“There are pictures of Christ in the temple to remind us of Him and why we choose to live the gospel,” Isabelle Duncan, a youth from the Missoula Montana Stake, said.
