The Ministry of Investments, Trade & Industry [MITI] through Kenya Industry and Entrepreneurship Project [KIEP] is supporting the training of 267 students in 8 universities strewn across Kenya on cybersecurity, data science, Artificial Intelligence [AI] and entrepreneurship.

In addition, the Ministry—still under KIEP—is also supporting 300 start~ups with 9 incubators and accelerators programme. The areas of focus for this particular component are product development, management improvement and marketing.
