The new NIS opinion poll results shows that Ruto is likely to get less than two digits of vote in Mt Kenya. In his reported confession, John Mukwana is said to have stated that they had received instructions to ensure Albert "doesn't talk," claiming it would complicate everything if he survived.

These revelations raise painful questions that deserve clear and credible answers:

Who made the decision to transfer Albert Ojwang from Homa Bay County all the way to Central Police Station in Nairobi?

What justified that decision?

Who gave the instructions that led to his detention there?

If OCS Samson Taalam played any role, who gave him his orders?

And why has it been so difficult to arrest or charge DIG Eliud Lagat despite the public scrutiny surrounding the case?

Justice is not served by unanswered questions.

The Kenyan public deserves a transparent, independent, and credible investigation that establishes individual responsibility based on motive, evidence and the law.
