A year after Francesca’s admission in Jan 25, I’ve received a letter from the DWP, stating I should have rung them the day she was admitted & that I wasn’t entitled to the benefit - despite remaining with her caring 24 hrs a day.

carers who are giving FT care & support to the ones they care for when admitted to hospital have their CA stopped if the person they care for is in hospital for 28 days plus, let's stop this !! Just because someone is in hospital does not mean the carer is not providing care.
