It’s all fun and games celebrating you finally have an adult doctor job until you’re apartment hunting and rent is literally more than half your resident salary.
Unfortunately, the program I matched into has lost its accreditation. I’m currently on the lookout for a Cat-IM PGY1 spot that sponsors visas. Any help/guidance in this process would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

Seriously, people’s faces light up and sometimes even their attitudes change for the better. You never know the impact a simple “ooo I love your nails!” or “cool shirt, man!” can have on someone’s day.
I’m that type of person who’ll compliment complete strangers if anything they’re wearing catches my eye. I’ll even do it multiple times a day! When random people compliment me it actually makes me so happy so if I can make anyone feel that way, you better bet I will!
Watch out Boston! You’re not ready for this incredibly hardworking and passionate future dermatologist! The field of dermatologic research is lucky to have you. So proud!
Updating my headshot as I wrap up my 3rd year of med school! 📸 Excited to dive into a research year starting August. Passionate about dermatology, especially addressing healthcare disparities. Eager to connect with colleagues on #MedTwitter#Dermtwitter
Hi #MedTwitter! Currently looking for a virtual #studybuddy for #Step3 for the next two months. Taking it late May-ish.
We can do as little as just keep each other company through video call on mute to keep each other accountable or as much as review topics and such!

Hey y'all. I went #unmatched in #dermatology this year and know I can def have more publications for a better app, so if anyone in #dermtwitter has any project I can be a part of or take the lead in, please shoot me a DM! I have research experience so don't need any hand-holding!
I recently met a junior from my college who used to be timid, introverted, and constantly worried. I recall guiding him on starting his USMLE journey, and it's heartening to see him take action towards his goals. Years later, he shared that he passed Step 1 and is preparing for Step 2 CK. It's a testament to his determination and resilience. When you're willing to pursue something, it's not about inability, but about facing challenges with determination. If you truly desire something, you can achieve it.
Looking for #researchproject opportunities in #dermatology to strengthen my application for next year (sadly went #unmatched).
I have a year-long derm research fellowship under my belt so if you have an idea but not the time to write it up, I’m more than happy to take the lead!
What an experience! Our volunteers (med students, premeds, physicians, and nurses) worked together to provide amazing care for this underserved community, while also getting the chance to shadow and learn from the amazing dermatologists that volunteered their time for #EnlaceDerm
At Enlace Derm inaugural student clinic, we provided free dermatological services to over 300 patients, diagnosing melanoma and other complex dermatology cases through numerous biopsies. Ensuring better prognosis for uninsured patients who otherwise might not receive care.
It was an absolute honor to work alongside @Mariavazquezpr to bring this free dermatologic clinic to life. More than 300 underserved patients went home having been cared for and we couldn’t have asked for a more successful first #EnlaceDerm Clinic ✨
- More to come!
Gratitude to @pmrn_etal and Eric Graulau for including me to help organize such an event for our disadvantaged communities. It's an honor to collaborate with fellow students passionate about reducing healthcare disparities for patients in PR 🇵🇷Together, we're making a difference
