Former Zimbabwean opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has come out in the open and made it absolutely clear that he would not support another military coup in Zimbabwe. By implication, he would not support any military coup against President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
In a tweet, Chamisa said he would not be made to “write Paper 2” again, a euphemism widely understood to mean that he would not repeat the role the opposition played during the events of November 2017, when the military intervened and removed former President Robert Mugabe from power.
I visited one of our public health institutions this morning to see a relative and left deeply concerned by the conditions I witnessed. What I saw was deeply moving—a clear indication that many of our people are facing serious challenges. The growing public outcry over our healthcare system is not an exaggeration; it reflects the difficult experiences of many citizens.
As your appointee and one whom you have tasked to speak for the young people of our great nation, I feel a solemn responsibility to speak openly: sometimes, in our desire to present progress, we may unintentionally overlook important realities on the ground.
Your Excellency, you have earned the admiration of this nation for your compassion, humility and tireless dedication to the welfare of ordinary citizens. Under your leadership, many have found renewed hope. It is because of this trust in your care for the people that I respectfully plead with you: please find time from your busy schedule to visit these institutions yourself. There is no substitute for seeing, listening and understanding firsthand what our citizens are going through.
I also wish to commend those who have had the courage to raise their voices on matters of public interest. Their advocacy reflects a belief in the kind of leadership you represent—a leadership that listens, acts and puts people first. @edmnangagwa
Two Limpopo farmers Zachariah Johannes Olivier, 60, Andrian Rudolph de Wet, 19, appeared in court for killing two women and feeding pigs with their bodies.
The children heard gunshots never imagining it was the end of their mother's life.
It is reported that the 47 year old man, who was shot, managed to escape and get help. However, this was not the case for the two women.
Police found both Maria and her companion's decomposing bodies in the pigsty and it was reported that the pigs had started eating the bodies.
Both women had allegedly been shot.
A devastated Walter Mathole, Maria's brother, told reporters that the family is demanding justice, not just for Maria, but for all victims of farm killings in Limpopo.
The three suspects, farm owner Zacharia Olivier and two workers, Rudolf de Wet, and William Musora, will appear again in the Mankweng Magistrate’s Court on the 30th of August.
Zimbabweans have been told by the country’s army commander, General Anselem Nhamo Sanyatwe, that the corrupt ruling ZANUPF party will rule Zimbabwe forever.
General Sanyatwe, who used the analogy of a donkey, said that "ZANUPF will rule Zimbabweans until a time when donkeys have horns."
He added that he was speaking as the army commander when he said that they would use Command Voting whether Zimbabweans liked it or not.
General Sanyatwe finished his speech in Manicaland by making pro-ZANUPF slogans and denouncing what he called enemies, referring to the opposition.
It is not every day you hear an army general publicly pledging to use military force to keep a ruling party in power!
However the chilling statement by General Sanyatwe is not new in Zimbabwe, the army has always been used as a wing of the corrupt ZANUPF party.
When he says "Command Voting," what he is referring to is basically a military backed sham election where the votes of Zimbabweans are ignored in favor of predetermined results.
It is a method of staying in power that relies on brute force and the complete disregard for democratic principles.
WISE NATURAL DISPOSITION.. Always assume that you are surrounded by danger, betrayal and dishonesty. That way, you will not be shocked or caught by surprise. Have a blessed day.
So those with a view aligned to yours are "men" and those with a different view are "boys"...so shallow indeed one of the reasons why Zimbabwe is in a situation it is right now -no tolerance to a different view only insults if you don't agree with another person's view so sad.
Does this mean London Town in Johannesburg is a curse for being named after London? You need to travel a lot more and understand that we are not as bad as a country.
And we are on the right path to economic recovery. This is NOT to endorse Zanu PF or Mnangagwa by the way but just being fair complimentary assessment of the reconstruction of macroeconomic entities. We took control of our land and paid the price by being banished from the global economy.
And we are now in a position to say; the worst is over and we are heading towards reconstructing one of Southern Africa’s modern domestic economic models that is well diversified.
I know at some point you are more likely to be a Zimbabwean President and hopefully at that time you will acknowledge the commitment of those today who have committed to do unpopular things by reconstructing macro entities.
Zimbabwe is on the right trajectory mate. It’s an argument that separates men from boys.
In a rare move, Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Ziyambi Ziyambi - who is also Leader of Government Business in Parliament - was chucked out of Parliament by Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda for insisting on holding a private conversation during legislature's business.
Ziyambi is caught here arguing with Mudenda over the issue.
THE LEADER AS A SERVANT NOT A MASTER…To lead is to serve. To serve is to enable. A leader is a servant. A servant is an enabler. When one serves as President, Minister, Member of Parliament, councillor, civil servant or in any public office, one must enable not disable. Great leaders enable those whom they serve. #LeadersServe #ForEveryone
@WFedele Whenever South Africans open spaza shops the mafia unleashed by the Pakistanis, Somalians and Ethiopians shut the South African owned spaza shops down. If they don’t close down they unleash violence against them.

This "I" did this for Zimbabwe that's the kind of language we are fighting to be removed in our politics, you are not the only who suffered/suffering for this Zimbabwe to be a good country.Everyone has his/her story to tell some died, some were tortured ,it must be a "we" game
Dr Nkosana Moyo continues to be proved right in his assertion that Zimbabweans are not fighting for change, they are fighting for inclusion on the feeding trough.
I have spent the majority of my journalism career exposing corruption, I have won multiple awards for this particular work including the UN International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award.
I have been jailed THREE times for exposing ZANUPF corruption and even sang about corruption in an effort to conscientise our society.
What I find crazy is that when citizens legitimately ask why opposition election agents were not paid after those citizens mostly in the diaspora contributed towards this effort, ghost accounts come to attack those of us who give them a voice.
Why do you want to intimidate a journalist from asking these questions on behalf of those who contributed?
WERE ALL OPPOSITION ELECTION AGENTS PAID?
If the answer is NO, is it not legitimate for those who contributed funds towards this effort to ask where their money went to?
Zimbabwe is now a corrupt society, VERY CORRUPT!
Yet many pretend ti be clean and when exposed they throw the ZANUPF agent card or the sell out card.
Sadly if the corruption is done by your side, you suddenly label us ZANUPF for asking the right questions which any trained journalist should be asking.
Why do you want this to be swept under the carpet, do you know something that we don’t know?
Why would you be worried writing essays if no money was stolen.
Why do you lie that all election agents were paid in order to silence those who are asking after donating funds when many agents are publicly saying that they were not paid.
Public funds require transparency and accountability to those who donated them, at least by showing that all election agents were paid.
Is that too hard an ask, of course it would be if something is being hidden!
Currently Chamisa is the leader of the struggle Hopewell there is no need to divert people's attention here .Every struggle has a leader and people chose Chamisa to represent them it's as simple as that .it's not following individuals but following the one you choose to lead you
This is what will keep ZANUPF in power for a very long time until the Zimbabwean mindset changes and we move to uniting around ideas and causes and not personalities.
People voted for David Coltart because they wanted and still want change.
If you are voting for someone because you love Nelson Chamisa instead of voting for someone because you want change, and are chasing an idea and a cause, then you are part of the problem.
In a normal society even those that don’t like or love Chamisa should and will vote for Chamisa if he represents a just cause, we should be after an idea and a cause because individuals come and go.
If we follow your thinking, then those who love Job will vote for Job, those who love Kasukuwere will vote for Kasukuwere, those who love Dr Nkosana will vote for DrNkosana;
What does this mean in the bigger picture, it means that they have all abandoned a cause and an idea for personalities, and that their votes are split allowing ZANUPF to rig and stay in power.
Wherever loyalty to personalities overrides the pursuit of broader political change and causes, the oppressor will always win because he is pursuing his cause and idea to loot and plunder.
The collective goal for ZANUPF is corrupt rule, they don’t like Mnangagwa in there but they are tied together to a goal, cause and idea of corrupt rule.
Until the opposition understands that basic rule of politics, it will remain opposing.
What happens when Chamisa leaves politics and decides to focus on the church?
You look for someone to love again?🤣🤣🤣
The reason why old parties in democracies like America and Britain have stayed the course is because they have ideological rooting, in Britain folks know what the Labour and Conservative parties stand for, not the individual leaders.
In America they know what the Democrats and Republicans stand for, the man or woman at the top can and will be changed if they don’t deliver on those values that the parties stand for.
But here you are saying you stand for a person! Tragic!
Everyone wants Chamisa,Sikhala must not use emotions he must know that people understand what he went through in the struggle but he must also respect people's choice, the current leader in this struggle is Nelson Chamisa we are not going to be diverted our attention by sideshows.
Zimbabweans are a RARE BREED.
you are cruising as though Job Sikhala wasn’t in prison. Matokanganwa ? Makutoti kana achida kuita leader nganoita leader wa Freddy shuwa munhu akaita 2 years mujere 🥲🥲
