If you ever think that you can't do something, remember that I once passed out because I was asked to speak in a room with only three other people in it. You can do anything, wonderful folk. #TEDx#TedTalk#anxiety#speaker#adventure
It's fair to say that the last few years have been hard - brain haemorrhage, epilepsy, marriage breakdown. But Must Try Harder has taught me that getting up and trying something new always helps so I'll be starting my adventures again in 2024 with an A to Z of Adventure.
I'm a year seizure-free today! To celebrate, I went for a 10km walk on my own before sunrise. It probably seems like such a small thing, but I couldn't even have contemplated doing that this time last year. Hurrah!
I havenโt been around much as itโs hard to think about adventuring after everything changed so much with my health. But today I went for my 1st walk on my own since the stroke - it felt great. Small steps towards adventuring again. Thanks for bearing with me!

I've been having a bit of a rest since having a brain haemorrhage last year, but it was lovely to be back talking about all things adventure and wellbeing with the wonderful Ways to Wellbeing podcast for @Partners4W. Please give it a listen! https://t.co/lK64XaEUmu
It's been a hard few months, facing all the things I've been advised not to do after a brain haemorrhage (drive, swim, climb...). But as spring arrives, I'm finding new ways of inviting adventure back into my life. Thanks for bearing with me.

@authorofbree Thanks so much, Hazel. I'm doing well and starting to get back to work and (very small) adventures again now. I've been taking a break from social media so I'm really sorry it's taken me so long to reply. It's so kind of you to be thinking of me. I hope you're well.
No big adventure plans for me this year, as I continue to try hard to recover from a brain haemorrhage and epilepsy diagnosis. But if youโre trying something new in 2022 and arenโt sure where to start, Iโve written a wee e-book to help you get going. https://t.co/DFZO0tZ5Jn
Itโs available on a Pay What You Want basis, in order to be as accessible as possible. Enjoy your adventures and hopefully Iโll be back trying new things again soon!
