I enjoyed speaking at #PMWC2026 on the transition from data to knowledge. We’re using foundation models like UCE and Transcriptformer to move beyond the "parts list" toward true clinical digital twins. As Sydney Brenner said: “Don't confuse data with knowledge.”
Our Chief Data Officer introduced #EpiSwitchOrion at #PMWC2026—#OBD's groundbreaking platform to unlock clinical value hidden in #genomic data. Orion is powered by a model built on our deep expertise—core regulatory logic in the 'dark genome'. Book a demo: https://t.co/WW64Aojhzk
🚨The Chinnaiyan Lab/Michigan Center for Translational Pathology has officially joined the science Twitter/X world! 🚨
We are excited to share news from our lab and engage with the physicians/scientists worldwide.

23andMe Research Institute left @PMWCintl feeling energized. Science is moving faster than ever, but our mission remains the same: helping people access, understand, and benefit from the human genome. Thanks to the PMWC team for another great year.
Our cofounder & CTO Zack Ziegler keynoted @PMWCintl yesterday. His talk started from one fact: ~half of US physicians use OpenEvidence. How do we do good for the world in ways that are only possible because of the scale of usage?
His closing thought: "In 2024 and the first half of 2025 we saw the linear impact regime of AI in healthcare. At the scale we are at today, we have entered the super-linear regime, where increased adoption leads to better outcomes with impact that contributes more than the sum of its parts."
The most interesting part of the story is about to start.
“If we can help by ... being the conduit between people who care and the entire research world that's looking to make discoveries, I think we can massively accelerate our pace of research," says @annewoj23 about the 23andMe Research Institute during @PMWCintl panel.
“Will all the intelligence in this room be reproducible by AI by 2030?”
The opening question fr @vkhosla in fireside chat w @gdb, @OpenAI@PMWCintl
Brockman’s answer: “Yes and no.”
Discussion on AI, medicine, and future of expertise. 🧵
💡Sanford Stem Cell Innovation Center Deputy Director Alexis Komor, PhD, was honored Friday w/the @PMWCintl Luminary Award for co-inventing #CRISPR base editing. 🌟 SSCI Director Catriona Jamieson, MD, PhD, received the award in 2024. @KomorLab@thejamiesonlab@ucsdbiosciences

Excited to attend the first day of my first #PMWC2026 meeting happening this week in the Silicon Valley. Four+ tracks and many aspects of #precisionmedicine and #ArtificialIntelligence to absorb and learn. Tomorrow will represent the #NHLBI#TopMed program.
“The Year of the Methylome” is the prediction of @gordon_sanghera From @nanopore In #PMWC2026 panel “From Mutation to Methylation” new developments in technology and implementation. The methylome better capturing cellular processes overtime than mutation.
Spoke at PMWC on AI-enhanced imaging in oncology. The science is there. The hard work of coordination and collaboration, still ahead.
At Columbia we've identified an imaging phenotype that detects GBM patients who respond to PD1-inhibit. Looking to partner with pharma.

Two siblings can follow the same diet and exercise routine yet get different results.
As @ramankapoorrd often sees in practice, biology is unique. Healthcare must move toward ultra-personalized precision medicine.
