Four years. Countless memories. One final ride as Pistol Pete. 🤠❤️
As Trevor gets ready to graduate, he’s hanging up the hat after years of bringing Aggie spirit to life across campus and beyond.
Join us in thanking Trevor for so many memories🎓
Per @GeoffGrammer, New Mexico and New Mexico State will remain at once a year in men’s basketball for at least the next two seasons. 2026 in Albuquerque and 2027 in Las Cruces.
Additionally, NMSU is working on playing UTEP twice in non-conference play for basketball after it joins the Mountain West. This may also be played just once per season now, though.
While nothing has been finalized yet, NMSU AD Joe Fields tells me that he wants to play the Lobos and Miners “as frequently as possible across all sports.”
“These are meaningful rivalries that deserve to be played and prioritized regularly.”
Tonight's game at New Mexico has been postponed due to illness impacting the availability of the Aggie roster. The game will be rescheduled to a date that will be announced at a later time.
We will return to action this Thursday at 6 p.m. to open our home series against Delaware.

@UNMLoboMBB@NITMBB I hate to say it but go lobos! They bested us last week by 9 points in CUSA. And I'll be at this game. Make NM proud and kick their ass!!

Advantage Aggies.
New Mexico State hands 12-0 New Mexico its 1st loss of 2026 and wins 8-6 in the first RGR of the season.
A 4-run 7th inning bolstered NMSU after trailing 6-4, highlighted by Aidan Taclas’ 2-run double. Cole Rogers had 3 RBIs and Tommy Muleskey hit a home run.
