Leadership is an identity, not a task.
Leadership is a mission, not a meeting.
Leadership is a purpose, not a paycheck.
Leadership is not something you do.
It's something you are.

Based on our years of research and work with a growing list of clients, here are some key points to remember when you are getting ready to issue recruiting deadlines to your prospects (a #ThursdayThread):
Establish a deadline horizon as early as possible in the process.
Too many coaches think recruits will find them.
Deliver a compelling message directly to the recruits you want. Do it consistently. And because they'll surely forget, if you haven't told them something in a while, tell them again.
