Before y’all start spazzing and being weird about transfer portal entries. These people contributed to the team. Even if it was only in practice they helped make their teammates better. If they don’t leave on no weird ish then just wish them well.

Long post but some thoughts about the program going forward:

Absolutely have to find a way to run the ball going forward. It doesn’t have to be 2015 Derrick Henry style but there has to be some consistency in the run game to help the passing game open up.

Team has to become more physical, teams that have the killer instinct and edge are the more physical team. Not sure where that exactly starts but it has to happen.

Trench play has to be better on both sides. DL was better this year than it has been in a while but still has to get better.

Special teams has to get better. It doesn’t have to win games but it can’t be a liability. It was this year.

There are some changes that need to be made on staff. I do not want to single out any single person but you can read in between the lines.

Keep getting DeBoer’s guys in the program. The best players/coaches are his. Keep filling it with that.

We’ve missed the killer instinct, we played well in critical moments, but lacked killer instinct. That comes with edge and physicality. Instill that into the program.
