Happy Mother's Day to my Mom, Shellie Russ, in Heaven. This is one of the last pics of her with her children. My brother Lendell is missing from the photo. I love my Mom. She was truly a virtuous woman.
Do you wonder why people’s lives are in a mess? The answer is simple yet complex: they do not know God. Pray for a great harvest of souls today. Pray that the Word of God will have “free course/free will” in hearts today as faithful men of God preach the Word. 2 Thess 3:1.
There is only 1 way to have a heart for God: feed the spirit & starve the flesh. We feed our spirit by attending SS & church tomorrow morning. When we feed our spirit with Bible study, prayer, and faithful church attendance we will crave Christ Himself. Try it & see.
Pastors in KY: Fall break is coming up (Logan Co gets 2 weeks!). You’ll have many folks traveling. Don’t get discouraged. Don’t take a break from the Great Commission! Stay faithful & be vigilant. Don’t focus on & preach to who’s NOT there. Preach to those who are with passion.
Dear President Trump,
I saw this on @FoxNews. The Bible says “…except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).” Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, Romans 3:10, 23, Romans 5:8, Romans 6:23, & Romans 10:13. Revelation 22:17. Jesus alone is the way (John 14:6).
It is amazing what one woman can do in her marriage, raising her children, caring for her home, and serving in the church when she makes the decision to do the right thing, no matter the problem. God will always bless repentance and doing the right thing.
On today's edition of #TheBriefing, I discuss the marriage crisis of American women not getting married and rejecting the idea of marriage, the growing political divide among young men and women and its effects, and the Christian honoring of marriage.

Men have outpaced women in church attendance the past three years, reversing a longstanding trend of more women in the pews that narrowed in 2016, Barna said in its 2025 State of the Church release, created in partnership with Gloo.

Mordecai Ham was the evangelist. Services were held 3 times a day - at 10am, 3pm, and 7pm. Local businesses closed during service times.
In 1934 Ham was preaching in Charlotte when a young Billy Graham was saved.
