I miss 90s movies with alt history, cyberpunk, dystopia versions of America. Cars with exhaust tubes with flames coming out the back like a rocket, clear plastic fadoras, punk gangs run rampant. Double Dragon, Escape from LA/New York, OG Judge Dredd. World building at its finest

Randomly heard this tip years ago listening to someone discuss coping with their ADHD as a writer. Dont think I suffer from ADHD but Ive put that trick to good use when I just can't sit down & write. Hope that helps someone out there #writingtips #WritingCommmunity #WritingAdvice

One of my favorite writing tips is "Put pants & shoes on." As someone who loves to write in a robe or pajamas, sometimes I just don't want to write or I get distracted. But getting dressed as though I'm going to work helps trick my mind into thinking it's time to work & focus

Curious as to what got some of my fellow writers addicted to the craft? Various video games, movies and books are what inspired me to write, but looking back i think when I first read Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is when writing hooked me #writerscommunity #writersoftwitter
