@ktb38 My waters broke on our mattress… he cleaned up while waiting for me to be induced. I’ve had several “flooding” moments, he’s helped me clean up, washed my pyjamas and made me tea while I showered. I help him when he’s struggling, he helps me… that’s a partnership
@aussieweegie My husband works for a company who have a special programme to support neurodiverse young people to access work. Would contact with the team who facilitate this help?
@embrooksy8@UofGlasgow Not going to lie I'm disappointed there wasn't a dog at my undergrad graduation but I'm very excited about the possibility of one for the MSc I've just started!
@CSuttonHistory this might make informative reading, especially when thinking about good transition for 6th formers and I know from experience some of the findings translate into some secondary school teaching too.
Excited that our first formal publication from @UofGNeurodiv is live! Credit to the wonderful work of @Rhoda_v_Below who was a joy to supervise and who worked so hard. @ElliottSpaeth 🥳🙌🥂

Worked in education for a decade, every year we did a data management cpd session. So i started this MSc with @UofGPsychNeuro dreading the data part. Turns out I should have done this in my teaching qualification! Never before had data and stats made sense and been so USEFUL!
Accommodations are ridiculous.
It inherently privileges those who can afford to get diagnosed, makes Disabled &/or Neurodivergent ppl go through extra steps to get appropriate support...
Our systems need to change to accommodate everyone, not just those with [white] privilege.
The @utdcos is committed to inclusivity, equality and diversity - eliminating all forms of inappropriate discrimination through its #unitedtogether campaign
