A man in his 20s who followed a woman home and attempted to sexually assault her and then attempted to murder the victim's boyfriend with a weapon.

▪︎Reasons for the reduction in sentence 50years -> 27 years :
The court considered the original sentence (50 years in prison) to be unfair, considering the following factors: the perpetrator had admitted to all charges and was reflecting on them since the investigation stage; the sexual assault and murder were both attempted; the attempted murder appeared to be an accidental crime rather than a planned one; the victim's symptoms had improved, albeit slightly; the risk of repeat offense was not high; and the victims refused but took out a loan and deposited 100 million won in criminal deposit.
