Another classic ppv night from AEW as always!
Mercedes Mone vs Maya World is my MOTN by far which is incredible to say given the rest of the card
Glad to see Jay White back, Andrade turning on the DCF and Ospreay winning the Owen
Onwards to Redemption and Forbidden Door!
BREAKING: Pierre Gasly has been reinstated into P3 for the Monaco Grand Prix
The Stewards have rescinded the two five-second penalties imposed on Pierre Gasly during the race for speeding in the pit lane
#F1
No, this concept didn’t work for AEW in MGM Grand Garden, Arthur Ashe, NOW Arena, Wembley Stadium or even Daily’s Place
This was a perfect crowd for a perfect ppv
It would need a 5% chance for the same magic to happen again next year
Dave Meltzer suggests AEW should run Louis Armstrong Stadium every year for a PPV:
"This was like Arena Mexico, this was a crowd that you needed to bottle. AEW should run this building for a PPV every year. It was too perfect of a crowd and a visual not to.”
(Wrestling Observer Radio)
So much like NXT where originally Fallon Henley was the leader of Fatal Influence and got the NXT NA title as well as the first shot at the NXT Women’s title
But once the decision to put the belt on Jacy happened, it was clear she was perfect as the leader
Same thing happened with the MGM Grand Garden Arena and to a lesser extent the NOW Arena for AEW
Even WWE learnt this with Allegiant Stadium
Can really only rerun arenas like this with a capacity of 8,000 or less for consistent attendance numbers these days
I wouldn’t be worried yet
It’s once DON happens and there’s a better sense of what the All In card could look like in the weeks before Forbidden Door will determine whether it might be the final All In at Wembley or not

Sure…
But at least AEW ppvs aren’t 50% commercials with majority of matches going under 10 mins
Slot almost any AEW match from Revolution or Dynasty and it’s MOTN on WrestleMania 42 Night 1 from both an in ring pov and a storytelling pov
@GunthersChop It’s because it’d been 4 hours into the show
I remember after the underwhelming Styles vs Nakamura match, the crowd was dead until the main event
Such a good show Revolution 2026 was
FTR vs Young Bucks, Jon Moxley vs Konosuke Takeshita, MJF vs Hangman Page, Kris Statlander vs Thekla
This is AEW at its finest
Wrestling is at its best when AEW is at its best
Finally caught up with Hangman Adam Page vs Christopher Daniels and Hangman Page has probably the best catalogue of death matches
Out of the 5 he’s had in AEW the only meh quality one imo was his match with Adam Cole
The rest have been bangers at the least and classics at best
*disclamer
The regulations this year are bad, super clipping is ruining qualifying sessions but at the same time we’re getting more wheel to wheel racing in the initial laps of races which was the opposite in the ground effect era
Also let’s be 100% real with ourselves since 2000, when was there ever authentic racing in F1?
2001-2007 had traction control & launch control
2009 4 teams had KERS
2011-2025 was the DRS era
So the only true authentic F1 seasons would be 2000, 2008 & 2010
Are you actually telling me there are people who would rather watch everyone sit behind each other complaining it’s impossible to pass because it’s more “authentic” ? Dawg lmfao shut the hell up what we got to watch was so clear of that
