I want to help my engineering team sharpen their product and UX sense. As we move faster with AI, good judgement is starting to matter a lot more.
Has anyone successfully done this or seen this in practice? Open to paid courses, team practices, blog posts, etc.
I'm developing an OpenClaw tool plugin for sending/receiving SMS messages through an Android phone.
I'm trying to figure out how to wake the agent when an incoming SMS webhooks comes in. Current idea is to make a self-call to `/hooks/wake`, but this feels kind of hacky.
@steipete Is there a better way to implement this? Waking agent on webhook receipt seems like a common use case for tool plugins that involves asynchronous events. Curious if this is something you've thought about.
Another possible (short-term) use case is that deterministic logic scales better. Its more efficient to create a tool that deterministically takes 5 actions rather than writing instructions, burning tokens, and polluting the context window trying to get the agent to sequence those 5 actions (if I need them done every time). Models will certainly improve to the point where this isn't the case, but maybe ambition of the things we want to do with them also scales and this continues to be a valuable layer for longer than we think.
@zain_hoda Great take, though maybe theres room to extend the thesis that "Governance is what's left" to be more like "Deterministic logic of all kinds is what's left".
Governance for workflows with 0% fault tolerance is one use case for deterministic logic, but could there be others?
The most common feedback I give Claude Code is that we don't need a Class with methods b/c a function will do just fine. Why is CC so obsessed with classes?
Building something new and was curious to compare adoption of the various popular open-source agent frameworks. Stars โ production usage, but itโs the best public signal I could find. If anyone has better real-world adoption data, please link.
The more I use Atlas, the more I realize how much Google trained me to trigger a OneBox result with exactly what I need. See attached where I searched โDL0934โ to check my brother-in-lawโs flight status. This is the worst itโll ever be though.
Tried prompting Sora with:
โRecap the football game on Sep 28 2025โ โ it made everything up https://t.co/Dmks6ZKyQP
โRecap the 1970 Super Bowlโ โ correct, vivid detail https://t.co/kCYzbsZsJB
Enabling web search during prompt expansion would be a huge unlock for topical content.
Yesterday I vibe-wrote an entire sci fi novel with ChatGPT in 90 mins.
Hereโs chapter 1: https://t.co/EBrwyV7Gle
Itโs nothing amazing, but itโs indistinguishable from any modern airport bookshelf novel or beach read. The AI slop era is going to be incredible.
@SSENSE Is anyone working customers support??
My email from a week and a half ago never got answered.
Chat on site says "you are #1 in queue", but 30 mins later no response.
When you call the phone number it says "lines are closed" even though the site says M-F 11-5ET.
