@YachtRockShow She's A Beauty is in our Top 5 of all-time Fav songs! Killer guitar riff by @stevelukather (he's created SO many!), and great lyrics by Fee.
"[Ann Wilson], the Heart singer, who founded the group 50 years ago with her younger sister Nancy Wilson..." Probably a surprise to @stevefossen, Mike DeRosier, Roger Fisher and @howardleese. Let's hope that @Carrie_Rachell gets it right. @lyndseyparker https://t.co/WWlu7fAvhO
We've been a bit quiet lately, and there's a reason. We're sad to report that our Founder and Co-Host John Michaels has passed away. A great engineer, a really nice guy, and incredibly hard worker, he will be greatly missed. We're figuring out where to go from here.
Hey everyone, our Podcast is now on @pandoramusic! So happy to be added to Pandora's list of music interview podcasts. Check it out! https://t.co/Z66TpZuiII
A very sad day in music. We lost Helen Reddy, Mac Davis, and Tower of Power's innovative and funkiest of bass players, Rocco Prestia. We celebrate their lives with Tower's (and Rocco's) signature tune, What Is Hip. https://t.co/QyxW7rOTO8
We are sorry to report that legendary singer/songwriter Mac Davis is critically ill following heart surgery in Nashville.
Your love and prayers will be deeply appreciated at this time. #PrayForMacDavis π
Thank you,
The Davis Family
@lofcr1 Back in 1978, Boston drummer Sib Hashian invited me to a party celebrating the release of Boston's second album. After a bunch of adult beverages by everyone, I had the band sign the album cover. Sib signed my forehead. I told him that I'd never wash my forehead again.
@richardmarx Back in the day, we would have made all kinds of scratches on the record from dropping the needle a million times to figure out these type of changes (to say nothing of all the lyrics I misheard).
@in_yacht@TheDoobieBros @Mike_McDonald1 "Most" underrated? Nah, I'd go with Another Park, Another Sunday. Just a beautiful song. Guitar and bass work is sublime. Running the guitars through a Leslie was inspirational. Even a vibraphone. Must listen on headphones. https://t.co/rOi2kKEnBT
@in_yacht In the late 70s I used Aja to test my tweeters (Steve Gadd's high hat on the drum solo) and Johnny "Guitar" Watson's A Real Mother For Ya to test the woofers. https://t.co/8K5JoWzP96
