@presence_t It does mean heavy but more like heavy and slow. Like a Snorlax. A Snorlax is ponderous. Rain, like the weight of mixed feelings, is overwhelming and forceful. Try “torrential”? “Like torrential rain”; I like that 😁
@presence_t Hmmmm... interesting question. Ponderous means slow and thoughtful, so if you’re saying the mixed feelings “seeped” into you like ponderous rain that would work but we don’t think ponderous quite goes with “rushed”! Think of a pond. Still. Thoughtful. Like a peaceful frog.
