This paragraph by Richard Feynman hits so hard:
“Fall in love with some activity, and do it! Nobody ever figures out what life is all about, and it doesn’t matter. Explore the world. Nearly everything is really interesting if you go into it deeply enough. Work as hard and as much as you want to on the things you like to do the best. Don’t think about what you want to be, but what you want to do. Keep up some kind of a minimum with other things so that society doesn’t stop you from doing anything at all.”
There is a WOMAN out there right now with no boyfriend, no side men, no situationship, no sneaky links, just by herself building the life she wants. Wherever you are, sis, you are going to win.
By 25, you should hold yourself to such a high standard of self respect that you’re able to comfortably dissociate with anyone who cannot meet those standards.
So… forcing myself to read at least one chapter of a book each morning while drinking my coffee, before even touching my phone, has been greatly improving my overall mood and focus. Today I got halfway through a book I’ve been trying to get into for months!
