So everyone outraged by what happened to Imane Khelif is going to leap to defend this young woman from the same dehumanizing effort to humiliate her, right. Because it's the harassment we opposed and not merely that it targeted someone who wasn't trans, right
The descendants of the mass killing of civilians we committed see parallels with current events where officials are threatening to use nukes again? Oh, I'm afraid we can't have that. No, this event has to stay vacuum-sealed in a box labeled "Can't happen again, don't ask."
It was always coming. The IDF is now conducting an open invasion inside their own self-declared humanitarian zone in Gaza and is telling Palestinians to move further west as that part of the humanitarian zone is no longer a humanitarian zone.
Hamas released footage of a multi-stage, hours-long ambush against the IDF last week in Gaza City, using IEDs, artillery shells, and retrofitted missiles to attack tanks, jeeps, and soldiers, with the entire operation filmed from multiple angles and transmitted into the tunnels.
The IDF is now admitting that the war against Gaza has caused a tank shortage, to the point where future units with female tank crews cannot be trained because there are so few tanks available to test with, and that new tanks being put into service are "not expected soon."
This pain this man has suffered over the past three months is beyond the comprehension of so many of us. And yet journalists in the West do not mention him, the sacrifices he has made, and who is targeting him to prevent him from bringing people the truth.https://t.co/jfId2HEGoz
The crowd that only a month ago was arguing that being a member of the SS didn't make you a Nazi seems to have really strong opinions about what you are by proxy if you go to a protest for Gaza.
