Can you believe it’s been 25 years? Warner Bros. is marking the 25th anniversary of ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ (aka Philosopher’s Stone) with a global theatrical re-release of the original film as part of a year-long celebration across all divisions of the media company.

Released on Nov. 16, 2001, ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ kicked off one of the most successful franchises in history, with over 600 million books sold in more than 85 languages, $7.7 billion in global box office revenue across eight #HarryPotter films and three ‘Fantastic Beasts’ titles, the stage-play ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,’ mobile and video games and worldwide themed-lands.
