@timmckay52 I couldn't resist the bait. So, I believe the dash you are looking for is an en dash β which is always spaced. Em dashes should be closed.
@SimonPease1 @willintyne@Dan1763 Right but in saying that in reference to a specific discussion of disabled people, you implied that those categories overlap. Which has caused offence. You also used the phrase 'workshy' in your thread, again while discussing disability. So you implied a connection.
@SimonPease1 @willintyne@Dan1763 Unfortunately you did use that phrasing. Not all bias is conscious. Perhaps this is an opportunity to examine why you used that language, and beliefs you may hold. But anyway, I did come here to point out that it wouldn't be a matter or wanting or not, but of capability.
@TTRadioOfficial Nearly everyone I know from my own cohort in 2019 has already left teaching, or is getting ready to do so. Of those that remain, most have migrated to private or selective schools for better work life balance improved behaviour.
@barton71@blindandb0ujee@hanneswot Last I checked, parenting was a biggie. Or is that too 'communistic'? Of course if you'd like to start paying mothers and home makers for their contribution to raising future generations a fair wage and call it working, by all means, I wouldn't say no.
Attention #NaNoWriMo Warriors, this is your halfway point reminder that you don't have to go it alone. I have one spot open in December for a manuscript evaluation to streamline your redrafting with editorial advice and support. #nanowrimo2023

@KateMacAuthor How odd, I hope KDP fix that! I once had a similar thing happen when I first started out, but I thought they'd have come a long way since then.
Both Lauren and Valβs worst nightmare is the bad guysβ plan coming to fruition.
The worst part of the nightmare is that they donβt truly know what is being planned. It is an unknown abyss, the worst kind of terror.

@TheGiftOfLife19 Threads! π it's just much nicer there. I still check in here sometimes, but there's so little engagement, and so much crap to wade through, it's disheartening.
@barb_avon I keep doing this, and it is infuriating! Do I own an apron? Yes. Should I wear it when cooking? Also yes. Do I? Not nearly frequently enough...π€¦ββοΈ
