This just kind of ignores basic history though doesn’t it. The Finals made a big push for generative AI long before many of these games (specifically to replace voice actors!) and Black Ops 7 is the product of Microsoft mandates and to possibly rein in that billion dollar budget

Beat Undead Nightmare the other night. It’s a cool premise with a pitch perfect tone, I love the soundtrack especially the surf pop at the end, but the faster combat can’t keep up with the controls and mandatory “side missions” = 👎
Still fun, doesn’t quite live up to its rep.
