Very sorry to hear of the passing of James Fawcett of Thomas Fawcett & Sons. He and the company always had a lot of time for what we do and a supporter from early on. I was fortunate to visit them with John Keeling when he was with Fuller’s and learned a great deal. RIP.
Don’t think they were ever the same again after they were re-acquired which is a real shame.
Really wanted them to come back again and relive those old Cannonball Runs! Wonder if anyone has the original recipes and could revive something similar? 🤔
Come on then, who’s attempting Dry January?
If so, which breweries are you turning to? Which beers have you tried before that you’d recommend either in draught or small pack?
@thebrewodyssey I’m 50/50 if to try it more permanently than just January once what I have in the fridge is done. Maybe month on, month off kinda thing?
Also, I’ve found that Proper Job 0% is great from @StAustellBrew and Green Mountain AF from @thornbridge is also pretty good too.
Good evening, remaining folks of X. I’m looking for information on breweries that exclusively cuckoo brew, have their beers cuckoo brewed or are regularly brewing beer for other companies for a potential upcoming article.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated 👍🍺
