Just checking in because I was dozing late during Friday’s game. Did power-tripping umpire Doug Eddings attempt to overturn Iván Herrera’s game winning home run?

Given his disgraceful and unprofessional conduct in Friday’s competition, I’m surprised Eddings didn’t nullify the go-ahead run by ruling Herrera failed to touch home plate. There’s no accountability for umpires. In fact, this clown can count on another postseason assignment as a reward. This dude has a history. But he’s empowered and can keep doing whatever he wants to do.
