Both Asmongold and Hasan finished their streams around the same time, but they ended with two very different messages.
I thought it was worth sharing so you can see the contrast.
@EdG6267@FreeArchivist@A_i The voice actress did a great in this scene portraying a cringy over dramatic teenage, the art director did a great job emphasizing the emotion that character felt with the camera work and music.
@NightHawk2397@rizzle_xo I don’t disagree agree necessarily. I saw gameplay for Clickhold and it looked boring but I gave it a chance after reading some reviews. It was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had playing a game and I loved it. There some games you just have to experience.
If you enjoyed Mixtape, here are three indie games with a similar vibe 🎧✨
📼 Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
🛣️ Road 96
🎸 The Artful Escape (made by the same developers as Mixtape!)
All of them also have AMAZING soundtracks
@FreeArchivist@A_i I’m waiting till this weekend to check it out but based of this clip.
Great voice acting
Great cinematography
Great sound design
I don’t think this shows what you wanted it to show.
@secretlyawasp@JourdenReid@A_i You said that there’s a correlation between peak and player base numbers. Mouthwashing disproves that.
You said that there is correlation between player base and those that leave a review. That’s true but it depends on the game audience.
@secretlyawasp@JourdenReid@A_i So you don’t know lmao. Here’s Mouthwashing another 3-4 hours narrative game with, in my opinion, more replay value than Mixtape. It has lower peak player count with higher reviews.
@ayyy_tone@Ironhyde01@SpawnWaveMedia You know that those reviews have this things called words that tell you why they scored the way they did. Did you read any of the reviews or just saw the numbers?
