i was journaling and finishing up my backlogs on introspection, and as i was auditing the past years i realized how much of it my brain has been editing/erasing off. Good thing i wrote in journal/notes/blog in the pst years esp when i felt so overwhelmed, so now i have an archive
turns out, reading voraciously, moving your body, loving people without keeping score, protecting your solitude, chasing nothing but your own growth, and occasionally staying out too late with people who make you laugh until it hurts is not a bad way to build a life.
this also applies to those who have crossed paths for a short time and have never spoken since, whether with closure or with things left unsaid. their kindness still lingers in my mind and stays in my heart, leaving traces that continue to spread even today, like fairy dust.
curiosity has saved my life more times than hope or optimism ever has. sometimes hope + optimism aren’t even accessible. in those moments curiosity is what carries me through
